The final stop for the night is in the state capital of Ohio, columbus. After a dinner at Jimmy's, the day ended at la quinta inn. It was about 525 miles, 3 states, a fog monster, rain, and lots of Midwest action, we decided it was safe to end day 1. I'm fairly certain both the dinner waiter and hotel guy are currently stealing my identity on their sketchy credit card machines, but otherwise a successful start to the trip.
